Comb your hair and detangle them before you wash your hair and before going to bed using a wide-toothed comb or a loop brush. A loop brush is specially curated for extensions and has loop bristles. If you are new to the world of hair extensions and have recently got your installation, we would suggest you wait for a few days to comb your hair. But if you cannot resist, comb your hair gently starting from the ends and work your way up. Avoid causing tension or getting too close to the joint.

Wash your hair with a sulfate-free shampoo
Wash your hair normally like you normally do but with sulfate-free. Lather your hair tenderly, and work the cleanser downwards, from scalp to roots. Massage your hair in a circular motion. Try not to touch your sewn-in area.

How to condition your hair
Condition your hair by applying the conditioner just below the sewn part. Make sure you don’t apply an excessive amount of conditioner where the extensions merge with your natural hair as the oil in the conditioner may loosen the grip.
When you have sewn-in hair extensions you double your hair volume and hence will require more time to dry your hair to the roots. Ensure that you dry your hair totally otherwise the grip may loose causing the extensions to fall off. Always use a heat protectant before you heat-style your hair. keep your heat setting on low to have healthy hair.

You cannot tie your hair back right after you get the extensions. Wait for a few days.
If you heat-style your hair immediately after installation, there are chances that your extensions may fall out. So, it is always advised to take precautions for better and long-lasting results.
Wrap your hair with a silk scarf before you go to sleep to keep them from getting frizzy. It is also suggested to tie your hair before into a ponytail while you sleep.
